Revolver Knight

Another of my “So Have Ya Seen…” radio spots is gonna air on Reckless Rebellion tonight, highly advise you guys to tune in whether you want to see my thing or not since tonight’s going to be all comedy songs.

Tonight’s menu? Robo Geisha. And another movie review is coming to 3/2 soon, stay tuned to it for a look at The Last Lovecraft. I’m also still plucking away a little at a time on a new comic while making occasional postings to Sidetracks. I’ll try and stay reasonably productive once classes resume.

Punching up a little last minute rant for my friend’s radio show this evening. I’ll be doing a little rant series called “So, Have Ya Seen…?” where I yammer for five minutes about remakes of 80′s cartoons. You can check it out at midnight Monday nights at Reckless Rebellion Radio. Or RRR for short. Rrrr. My own segment should be at 1 AM alongside the “Bulletins from the Darkness” segment from Uncle Cal. Last week was about Voltron Force, and kind of sucked since I’m breaking the format in a bit. Tonight’s show involves My Little Pony and Communism. More the former than the latter.

(For those who must know, they are pre-recorded, in case I appear to be unconscious during airing)

Okay, been sluggish around here lately, but I got a lot of back-end stuff knocked out tonight that I’d been putting off, so soon I hope to post up a PDF ‘omnibus’ of Revolver Knight once I’ve made sure all the pages are in order and whipped up some new cover art and maybe some little bonuses/author notes.

This is also a small chunk of my trying to re-organize my entire freaking computer after a pretty busy year and some lax file management that’s not been helping my cause. (I have like three My Documents folders, two on the desktop and one inside the ‘real’ My Documents, in addition to several redundant art folders… and let’s not get started on my Firefox download dump, heh.)

Starting to put together a new schedule in order to get myself cranking out some more creative content. Stay tuned!

Going to try and gear up for a new comic type project pretty soon. Also, still attempting to update the Kagemaru side-story at Sidetrack at least once a week. Do check it out if you liked RK. And if you missed RK, catch up! Geez.

So then! I’m still gathering my files from various design projects together to update my gallery with. If you want to see some of my random illustrations of late, I’ve been making something of an attempt to keep up with DeviantArt too. It’s always seemed kind of funny to see the steps they’ve taken adding services like print-making to be more friendly to ‘legit’ artists from the comics and stuff, while keeping the ‘deviant’ name. You’d think they would have generified it to ‘The DA’ or something akin to KFC trying to downplay the ‘fried’ in their name.

Going to do some tweaking to the theme soon so it actually represents my work, the current theme is really just a default place holder I tossed up just to make sure my WP install worked.

In update news, if anyone missed it (and is reading this; 3/2 gets more traffic than the hub does), Third Half updated with another Demo Demo Panic on Moon Diver, and I’m currently working an all-new audio commentary project that should be fun to give a whirl, looking forward to seeing if anyone likes. I updated RK Sidetracks with a new Shadow Man page as well.

First batch of recent design work is up for perusal here. It’s pretty much all from signage I designed on the side at my day job. My older stuff will be up as soon as I scrounge it out of hiding, and I’ll move some illo’s over this way soon, too.

At long last, I’ve gotten around to making a ‘hub’ for my sub sites again and did some back-end cleanup. Hopefully that’ll make the rest of the upgrades I have in mind go smoothly since it’s been a while since I messed with WordPress.

I’ve recently finished a Multimedia Certificate program to fill in some gaps in my skill set, since my original web design training came back in the days that frames and tables were considered acceptable design elements. (On that note- I’m still not exactly wild about entrusting all my formatting to CSS, but when it does finally work, it’s a breeze compared to having to reset everything by hand every time I want to revamp the site design.
